Who we are

We started out here as just caretakers of the property, after getting asked from people if we would rent
the place out for functions we started thinking the area really doesn’t have anything like this around for
an Event Venue and with a little hard work that it could be a great place for any type of gathering. It
began with cleaning out the main lodge, purchasing a new stove for the kitchen, buying a bunch of
tables and chairs and then a few years later a commercial tent to hold about 200 people. The tent
worked great for almost 10 years but we had bigger ideas, we wanted a permanent building to hold 250-
300 people, permanent lights, a storage area for the tables and chairs, and a small stage for an inside
ceremony, or a band /DJ. In the fall of 2021 we broke ground on our Pavillion, it is 40x84 with all of the
things listed above, in addition we added sidewalls that can be rolled up or down depending on the
weather, and a new composite dance floor! We even had a Christmas wedding in our new pavilion in
December of 2022!
All of this was just what we had envisioned, but we still had an idea for a porch/patio area on the front
of our main lodge, we started this early spring of 2023 and luckily got it finished up by our first wedding
of the 2023 season, it has a bar area, whiskey barrel tables and an Adirondack chair – fire table area for
a relaxing, getaway-from-the-big-crowd place to socialize with your friends or family.
During all of this time we also remodeled all of our cabins, we have 4 cabins with 3 of them being
identical with an open concept of table, couch, tv area as you walk into the cabin, a full bath/kitchen
area mid cabin and at the rear of the cabin they have a queen, a full, and a twin bed in each. The 4 th
cabin has full kitchen and bath on one side of the cabin and it has 2 separate bedrooms with queen beds
on the other side of the cabin. All cabin are equipped for year around use and have both heat and air
conditioning.
Future projects include a new Bridal suite and outdoor bathroom facilities, additional cabins, possibly
some campground hookups?
We love our Venue, we have put our blood, sweat, and tears into this place, and could not have done
this without the help of our guests, friends and family, for that we are forever grateful!
